Workshop Title
The learner is expected to be able to analyze, evaluate, consider the surrounding business environment

Step by step instructions for the preparation and implementation of the workshop

Step 1: Make a short description of the macro and microenvironment (PPT).

Step 2: Pass out to participants the exercise Worksheet (Attachment 0.2) and ask to explain environmental factors.

Step 3: Have a group discussion and connect the main covered issues with environmental forces.

Step 1: Make a short presentation of Porter’s Five forces model (PPT).

Step 2: Divide the learners into groups.

Step 3: Ask the group to choose a product or service.  Ask the student to use Porter’s model to help understand forces in environment (Attachment 0.3).

Step 4: After 30 minutes, ask each group to present their analysis.

Step 5: Close with a discussion.

Step 3: Ask the group to choose a product or service.  Ask the student to use PESTEL analysis framework to help understand forces in environment (Attachment 0.4).

Step 4: After 30 minutes, ask each group to present their analysis.
